Tracking no update since 9th April!

Hi, may I know why there is no update on my parcel and now it is almost 46 days since the last update. Bought small item from Aliexpress and the last update is:
Shipment accepted by airline
2018-04-09 15:55:56 [GMT+8]
Im asking my seller and they say I have to wait. But I'm wondering why it took so long to accept by airline, by this time at least it should be in the destination country. This is way to slow. I've been used China Post Ordinary Small Packet Plus before this and never experienced this slowness. I need an explanation as my seller kind of useless to provide an info.

China Post Ordinary Small Packet Plus is really slow. It takes about three months to get my packet by using China Post Ordinary Small Packet Plus before. It's easy to be lost without tracking service when leaving China. You'd better open a dispute if you couldn't get it in time.
