Inconsistency between tracking in Chinese and English

|

In tracking in Chinese, the latest information is 杭州市, 等待用户缴税. However, in tracking in English says “Arrival at sorting centre, Your item will be sorted for transport to a delivery office “.
Which statement is correct?

If the tax must be paid, how can I pay?

Hi Irene,

The Chinese tracking is correct. You need to push the receiver in China to pay for the tax. Or, it will not be released.

I find that to get the correct information about each step in the shipping, it's best to use Google Chinese-to-English translator and translate the Chinese characters listed. The English doesn't always match what the Chinese says or one English phrase is applied to multiple different Chinese phrases. Ex. I was in dismay to see that the latest step for me has my order back at the origin! But the accompanying Chinese phrase says, when translated, "Guangzhou, 【Guangzhou International Center】has been exported directly". It would help if whatever ship it's on could once in a while post "It's still on the boat." or something because the last report was 6 weeks ago.
