济南市, 应纳税邮件，待收件人支付

我給媽媽級了幾瓶維生素（3瓶Q10，一瓶深海魚油）。9月7號從舊金山寄出，到今天還未收到。剛才查了一下，從9月19號就扣留在濟南海關，10月9號顯示“应纳税邮件，待收件人支付”。不知何時開始徵收維生素稅。如果是新政策，請發到我的Email裏，並告訴我如何支付。我不想讓我將近90嵗的老母親來費心支付這個從未聽説過的稅。

Thanks for your quick response. Can you please send me the official tax regulation regarding vitamin package? I am not doing business on vitamins, only mailed 4 bottles to my mom. Is there limit on each package?

You couldn't pay for it from abroad. You'd better contact the receiver in China to ask if she has received the notice from the customs. If no, let her check through authorized tax collection system (http://int.ems.com.cn/mailtax) to check and pay.
