How long does it take to ship via China Post?

It’s hard to give a definite answer about the days it takes to ship via China Post. The delivery time differs with different ways to send the package and different destination countries. In most cases, international packages sent though China Post could be delivered between 15-60 days. Some package sent through economic ways may take as long as 3-6 months to be delivered.

The delivery time is usually decided by the process time of the post offices and customs clearance condition. The following time is just for your reference.
1. For Air Parcel:
To China Neighboring countries: 7 – 15 Days
To European and American countries: 10 – 30 Days
To other countries and regions: 15 – 40 Days
2. For Surface Air Lift (SAL) Parcel: 30 – 60 Days
3. For Surface Parcel: 60 – 120 Days

1.    The seller usually ships the package after 1-5 days after you place the order. Some of the seller hands it over directly to China Post. Some may ship it first from the city he is located to the other city where the express agency they cooperate is located. The express agency will deal with it after they get package. Most of express agencies are located in the coastal cities of China. It takes about 3 days for the express agency to get the package.
2.    After China Post gets the package, it will be dispatched to the appropriate International Service Center. After security screening, it will catch an airplane. (3-5 days)
3.    After the packages arrive in the destination country, they will be presented to Customs for inspection. Once it’s released by the customs, it will be sent to local post offices for delivery. (5-20 days)

Note: When the package is in the destination country, it will be processed by the postal service of the country. For example, when it’s in the US, it will be processed by USPS. In Australia, UK, Canada, Australia Post, Royal Mail, Canada Post will process it separately.
