Can a tracking number be used more than once?

I received a wrong item with a tracking number and the right item was supposedly shipped yesterday with the same tracking number.

Hi robcathy,

No, the same tracking number couldn't be used again. You need to contact the seller to ask for the new tracking number.

USPS tracking number - no way to call number listed... won't go thru (0 reply)

I need a USPS tracking number for my package that they said was delivered today. can't check with Post Office without a tracking number.. The tracking number I have is from China - it is AQ017387734CN. I also called the phone # listed on website ( +86 10 11185 and also tried calling +86 20 11185 )-- neither number would go through states is an invalid number.

Seller has only provided fed ex tracking number. So tracking will not show any overseas movement. It will only start showing updates once package clears us customs and fed ex receives package. I have asked seller multiple times for China post tracking number which they keep replying back stating that my tracking number is fed ex tracking number. Is it possible to track package’s shipping from China post with fed ex tracking number? Or how do I go about getting China post tracking number if seller will not provide it?
