How do you stop a shipment

I ordered something on amazon. They told me I can stop shipment but I unsure how to. Please let me know.

Hi Rashonda,

Once the package is shipped and in transit to your country, it couldn't be stopped. You can only refuse to accept it or return it back when it's delivered in your country.
