my item states delivered but i do not have

I have contacted royal mail as package says delivered but i don't have. It is the first issue i have had when ordering from dhgate. The shipper keeps telling me it has been delivered but i don't have the package.
Please help i need to provide proof for my dispute

Hi craig,

Sorry, we could only provide you the tracking information if you provide the tracking number. If royal mail said it was delivered, you need to let them provide you the proof.

Royal Mail said they can not help as it was sent from overseas.
I need to contact shipper for them to claim
