My package has arrived in destination country and has been there for 12 days. Do you know why?

Can I assume I have been scammed if the tracking details are vague and I stopped getting updates? And no response from seller? And it supposedly has been in my country over a month? Expected delivery was Nov. 29 too. I bought a $1200 item as well, so just the fact it was shipped with cheap shipping is also a reason I feel I was scammed. And all of the reviews too. I would bet most of the customers complaining bought items that the price was too good to be true. That would be great if I did receive what I purchased, but I am going to assume the worst bc of the horrible wait time and false delivery date. I'm glad I used PayPal and have mountains of evidence so I WILL get my money refunded, bet that. And then after I get my refund, I will be able to patiently wait. Maybe my item will arrive, maybe not. Either way, jokes on not me. If item does arrive in a year, I might just start ordering stuff now, get my money back and next holiday season, I will have a bunch of free stuff arriving just in
