I sent a package to China from Turkey recently, but after shipping it, I realized that the contents might not comply with Chinese local regulations. To address this, I promptly submitted a return request in cargo branch to prevent any issues. However, I’m not sure if the return request was processed in time.

The tracking currently shows 'The item was forwarded to the destination country (Otb),' but I’m uncertain whether the package has entered China or is still in transit.

What are the typical procedures in such cases? If the package arrives in China and the contents are flagged, is it common for it to simply be returned to the sender? Does submitting a return request indicate that I was trying to proactively address the situation?

I’d appreciate any insights on how such situations are usually handled and what steps I should take next.

Does it come by air cargo or by ship cargo?

I live in U.K. I received a small packet by air today via china post. The parcel was clearly bashed on the outside package and the glass contents have been smashed to pieces to which I am very disappointed. How do I get compensated for the loss of these items broken in transit ? Can you please advise me what to do.
