How long should a delivery to China take?

I had a first class package shipped to China. Which I realize now, cannot be tracked. It has been over three weeks and Ive heard nothing as to the status of my package. Im hearing from some people that it took nearly a month just for their package to reach customs. Is this true? How long does it take for a package to be handed over to ChinaPost or EMS?

Yes, it takes about a month to reach customs.
