"Export customs clearance completed" indicates that your package has completed export customs clearance in China and is not stuck in the clearance process.
This status means that Chinese customs has released the package, and your goods are en route to the destination country or are waiting in line to be loaded onto the next flight/ship.
No updates in the past 8 days are usually caused by the following three most common reasons, which you can check against:
✈️ International shipping "quiet period" (most likely): The package is on a plane or ship, or waiting for a connecting flight in a transit point (such as Hong Kong, Dubai, Incheon). During this period, logistics providers usually cannot provide real-time scanning, and no updates for 5-10 consecutive days is normal. Once the package arrives in the destination country and is entered into the local system, the status will be updated to "Arrived in Destination Country" or "Import Customs Clearance Begins".
📦 Commercial Courier Release Delay (DHL/FedEx/UPS Large Shipments Only): For large commercial shipments, sometimes after customs release, the carrier may not receive confirmation of payment from the port terminal or issue a release document, causing the goods to remain in the warehouse. This situation requires verification with the sender's freight forwarder.
⚠️ Special circumstances in the destination/transit country (low probability): Widespread delays are occurring in some countries (such as France recently affected by IT outages, Iran affected by network disruptions, and Italy adjusting its customs policies). If your package's destination is one of these countries, delivery time will be affected accordingly.
A status indicating "exported" is actually good news, meaning the most complex step of customs clearance has been successfully completed. It's currently most likely en route to your country. We recommend patiently waiting another 3-5 business days; the next stop information usually appears in the destination country's postal or local courier system.
