Where is my package? It has not moved in a week.

My parcel has not moved in a week. Where is it? All tracking programs I use tell me it is “Already handed over to airlines for transportation”. Tracking number CP394160917CN. One program even says it is on rout from China to France. What is happening?

My package has been going fine across the U.S. for a while now, making it to New Jersey on its way to my state. But it's been a week, and it hasn't changed from having departed that facility. A drive from there to here should be at most two days, what would be happening to make it take so long?
