I ordered my item on April 22 and it's been stuck in Flight Departure status for 60+ days. I can no longer contact the company I bought it from as the website is no longer active. I'm just hoping this wasn't a scam. :-(

Hi Jeff Gibbs,

It's delayed in China for a long time. It's still in transit to the US now. If the seller doesn't reply you, try to contact your bank or visa company to ask for a charge back. Or, open a dispute from the platform you buy it to get refund in time.

How long should I expect my parcel to take? (1 reply)

I had a package sent to me on April 14th, through China EMS. It was collected on the 15th and despatched to the UK on the 17th, however the tracking site I was provided with and my local couriers tracking both have no updated since. I thought EMS was usually quicker than this and I looked it up to read that EMS from China to the UK usually takes 7-20 days, but my tracking has not updated in a month.
I found tracking websites that share more detailed information however this is what I get:
May 8, 2021 22:14 -Flight Departure
May 8, 2021 22:14 - Transiting via the transit Airport
May 9, 2021 21:10 - Flight Departure
May 10, 2021 12:02 - Flight Departure
May 12, 2021 15:16 - Flight Departure
May 13, 2021 00:07 - Flight Departure
May 14, 2021 09:00 - Flight Departure
May 15, 2021 09:44 - Flight Departure

Why has its flight departed so many times? What does this mean. Should I be concerned about my parcel yet?? Or is taking this long normal for EMS
