Package says it was delivered but at the wrong address

Hi, I ordered something on amazon being delivered by China Post and on Amazon the delivery says it was attempted but unsuccessful. When I looked up my tracking number on here it says it was delivered but in a completely different state. What do I do? Also do I have to be home when the package is delivered or can I somehow change the instructions to just leave it at my door. I'm usually at work when my packages are delivered and wouldnt be able to personally receivethe package. Thank you

Hi kkaylz64,

In this situation, you need to contact the seller to reflect the problem and get a solution as soon as possible. Only the seller can require China Post to do a formal trace investigation. If the seller doesn't reply you, try to contact your bank or visa company to ask for a charge back. Or, open a dispute from the platform you buy it to get refund in time.

I placed this order from a seller via DHgate & it should have been delivered to my address 31 Archer Drive, Cheswick Green, Solihull, B90 4LG, UK, however it was delivered on 11th June via Royal Mail to a wrong address in UK, the seller has closed his store more than 2 weeks ago & I can not contact him by any means, I appreciate if you can help, at least I want to know if he has given you my address & accordingly it is the fault of Royal mail to deliver the parcel to a wrong address, or the seller gave you a wrong address & in that case, I can get refunded by DHgate.

I paid for goods that were not delivered due to an error on your part! The sender sent me a shipping label with the correct address on it.
