Returned parcel stuck in customs

Tracking number: EJ277735485AU
My parcel is showing as being held by customs since 21 July 2021. Could I please get some information as to why? I have also asked the company I am returning my parcel to check with you as well. I am not impressed as there has been no communication and I paid for express shipping. This is the slowest express shipping I’ve ever seen.

It should be waiting for the receiver in China to declare to the customs now. You'd better contact the receiver in China to ask if he has received the notice from the customs. If no, let him check through authorized tax collection system (http://int.ems.com.cn/mailtax) to check.
