Status inquiry on parcel EE053873773MY

Hi, I would like to know the status of my parcel EE053873773MY. It has been at custom since 9 September. I contacted the receiver and was told they did not receive any contact or messages by custom. Is there a way for them to contact custom?

Let him check through authorized tax collection system (http://int.ems.com.cn/mailtax) to check or call China customs service number 12360 to check.
