Updated tracking online does not match with what the EMS company says

Hi,

My friend in China has contacted EMS to enquire about two parcels on transit to myself. EMS on the telephone is provided different information that what is displayed online through tracking websites. I'm am confused on which information to trust?
My parcels have been at (GuangDongShengGuangZhouShi 51040034 ) since around 21st April. Latest status online is left International center, next stop international exchange station.

What's EMS tells you throught telephone? left International center, next stop international exchange station means it's still in transit in China now.
I’ve been tracking the parcel on several websites and all of them say different things, one of them even say that they’re on the way to Mexico, when my friend called to the company they just said “just check the website” how am I going to check and trust the websites if all of them have different information.
Also, the parcel appeared that it was returned to security 3 times in the SAME PLACE, so I don’t understand what’s going on.
