it has been saying that Origin Post is Preparing Shipment -> We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece. Is this package lost?

At this point I feel that this package is lost and I have lost lot of money, the seller does not care and is not helping finding out where the order is. I just want to know where it is. Is at a post office is on plane is it lost I just want to know.
