My package has been on the same "update" since almost 2 months now, so not surewhat's going on, the last update was "Plane arriving" but I don't have nothing else besides that, would you please help me with it? I've been waiting for my package since 3 months now.

Hi Luis,
The "Plane arriving" status means your package has landed at an airport, likely a major transit hub. However, it doesn't necessarily mean it has arrived in Colombia; it could be at a connecting airport like one in Europe or the US. It's quite common for packages to get stuck at this stage for 4-8 weeks, especially during busy seasons.
Once a package arrives in Colombia, updates often stop on the China Post system. It's crucial to track your number directly through Colombia's national postal service, 4-72, as they are likely handling the final delivery.
Official 4-72 Tracking: You can try tracking it on the official 4-72 website.
Contact 4-72 Customer Service: The most direct way to get an update is to call them. Here are their official contact numbers:
Within Colombia (Toll-Free): 01 8000 111 210
From a Mobile in Colombia: 472 2000
From Outside Colombia: +57 (601) 472 2000
Customer Service Email: [email protected]
Contact China Post
You can also require the sender to contact China Post to initiate a formal inquiry from their end.
Hotline: +86 20 11185
Email: [email protected]
If after contacting both postal services you still don't have a clear answer, the package may be considered lost. If so, you should start a formal complaint process with the sender or seller (e.g., AliExpress, eBay). Compensation for uninsured registered mail from China is typically limited to three times the postage fee paid, so it's best to manage expectations on this front.
