Announcement on the Delivery Time for Packages During the Coronavirus Epidemic

With the outbreak of coronavirus in multiple countries, some countries and regions have adopted a series of preventive and control measures. Airlines in some countries have significantly reduced or cancelled international routes, which has caused postal services to be suspended or delayed, and mail delivery capacity has been affected. The delivery time for packages imported to China or exported from China to international countries has been extended to a greater extent than usual. Some countries’ postal delivery is also not abnormal now. Please forgive for any inconvenience caused by the extended delivery time for packages.

China Post has stopped sending service to some of the countries due to the spread of coronavirus in the world for months. As of July 20, 2020, China Post will resume receiving international mails to the following countries: French Polynesia, Cayman Islands, Oman, Aruba, The Cook Islands, Falkland Islands (Mal Venus), Solomon Islands, Argentina, Belarus, Indonesia, Montenegro and Peru. Please be informed.

Due to the extension of the local government's measures to prevent and control the outbreak, the delivery time and service quality of various mails of the Posts of France, Portugal and New Caledonia are still affected to different degrees. And they continue to suspend the delivery and receipt service, which cannot guarantee to provide the receipt of recipient.

Among them, UAE Post will adopt non-contact delivery way for imported mail during the epidemic, reducing the contact of personnel in the delivery process.

The following postal services continue to be affected by the local government's epidemic prevention and control measures, and the delivery cannot be guaranteed temporarily, including: the United States, South Africa, Madagascar, Philippines, Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, Latvia, Nepal, Kuwait, Spain, Colombia, Nepal, Jamaica, Iran, Italy and UAE.
U.S. Post will continue to receive and process imported mail, but the timeliness of various mail services cannot be guaranteed. At the same time, U.S. Post recently adjusted the delivery method of imported mail, suspending the delivery signing service, and cannot guarantee to provide the receipt certificate of the recipient; the Netherlands and Papua New Guinea Post continue to suspend the delivery and signing service. During the epidemic, UAE Post will adopt non-contact delivery way for imported mail to reduce personnel contact during delivery.
China Registered Air Mail/Surface Mail, E-packet stops shipping to some countries now. Packages already shipped will be delayed for 1-2 months or more. China Post will not compensate for the delay caused by the coronavirus.

The following postal services continue to be affected by local government’s epidemic prevention and control measures, and the delivery of imported mail services will be affected to different degrees.
The countries include: Maldives, Rwanda, South Korea, Mauritius, Guatemala, Italy, Singapore, Cayman Islands, Samoa, French Polynesia, Curaçao, Malawi, Nepal, Togo, Portugal, Vietnam, Mongolia and Luxembourg.
Among them, Mauritius, Curaçao and Portugal Post have suspended the delivery and receipt service, which cannot guarantee to provide the certificate of receipt of the recipient.
Affected by the local government's strengthened epidemic prevention and control, in the following countries, the post services’ processing for packages recently imported from other countries will have different degree’s affect: Fiji, Bozwana, Serbia, Mali, Thailand, Greece, Argentina, Iceland, Estonia, Slovak.
Among them, Argentina, Iceland and Slovakia post adjust the delivery method of imported mail, temporarily suspended the delivery receipt service, and could not guarantee to provide the recipient's receipt certificate.
April 3:
Due to the local government ’s efforts to strengthen epidemic prevention and control, recent delivery time and service quality cannot be guaranteed for the time being for packages to France, Czech Republic, Grenada, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Sweden and Denmark. International mail sent to the above countries will be subject to different degree of influence.
Among them, France Post recommends that users of all countries appropriately reduce the non-emergency mail service to France in the near future. France Post will give priority to emergency services and small parcel services;
Sweden and Denmark Post have suspended the provision of delivery and signing services for imported mail that requires delivery of a signing certificate.
Affected by the strengthening of the local government's epidemic prevention measures, the Zimbabwe, South Korea and Russia Posts’ recent delivery deadlines and service quality cannot be guaranteed for the time being, and international mails sent to the above countries will be affected to different degrees.
March 26:
Affected by the strengthening of the local government's epidemic prevention measures, the processing and postal service time of the following countries for the recent imported international mails will be affected to different degrees:
United Arab Emirates, Barbados, Madagascar, South Africa, Hungary, India, France, Cayman Islands and Samoa Post.
March 25:
The delivery for imported mails in 10 countries or regions is affected to varying degrees, including Honduras, Estonia, Spain, Slovakia, Saint Lucia, Papua New Guinea, Belarus, Senegal, Switzerland and Canada.
March 24:
The delivery of imported mails in 16 countries or regions is affected to different degrees, including Mauritania, Bermuda, Tonga, Thailand, Guyana, Colombia, Uruguay, Panama, Israel, Ukraine, Philippines, Bhutan, Indonesia, Luxembourg, Sri Lanka and Montenegro.
Ukraine, Indonesia, and Luxembourg will not be able to guarantee to provide the certificate of mail receipts in the near future.
March 23:
The delivery of imported mails in 12 countries or regions has been affected by COVID-19: Liechtenstein, Mauritius, Morocco, Belgium, New Caledonia, Austria, Portugal, Brazil, Northern Macedonia, Vietnam, Poland, France.
March 20:
Affected by the COVID-19, the quality and delivery time of postal services in some countries and regions are affected, including Singapore, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Slovenia, Canada, Croatia, Armenia, Georgia, Turkey, Suriname and Serbia.
Among them, eight postal services (Singapore, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Slovenia, Canada, Croatia, Armenia, and Georgia) have adjusted the delivery methods for imported mails and are unable to provide delivery receipt services for the time being.
