Issue with parcel stuck at custom

Hello,
I’ve sent a parcel in august from Uk, via Royal Mail, the parcel is now stuck at custom and I don’t know the reason, the receiver refuses to contact the custom to find out, tracking number is RN428183640GB. Could you please assist and let me know what is the problem?

I recently sent a parcel from the UK to China via Parcel Force, and I ensured all the required customs documentation was completed correctly on my end. However, the tracking status is now showing as "Held at Customs – incorrect documents" as of June 16, 2025, 2:34 PM.
The tracking number is EK137916977GB, and the declared customs value is under 1000 RMB. Given that I completed all the necessary paperwork accurately, I’m unsure why the parcel is being held.
Could you please advise on the next steps? Specifically:
- What documents or information may be missing or incorrect?
- Is there anything the recipient in China needs to provide or do?
- How can I assist in resolving this issue as quickly as possible?

It should be waiting for the receiver in China to declare to the customs now. You'd better contact the receiver in China to ask if he has received the notice from the customs. If no, let him check through authorized tax collection system (http://int.ems.com.cn/mailtax) to check or call China customs service number 12360 to check.
