Item stuck for 1 week on route to customs?

My packag eRC710042358SG is stuck Guangzhou, with remark sent to the import customs since 18th Sep 2022. Please advise why the long delay?

Hi Alfred Lim,

It should be waiting for the receiver in China to declare to the customs now. You'd better contact the receiver in China to ask if he has received the notice from the customs. If no, let him check through authorized tax collection system (http://int.ems.com.cn/mailtax) to check or call China customs service number 12360 to check.

The description says "information received - Item en route to postal facility'. It has said this for a week on china post and singapore post but USPS has said this for 2 week.
