Why is my parcel still in customs?

China customs have my parcel held for well over a month pending investigation. The original seller has taken down the advert so I can’t contact them for help. I’ve tried ringing my local sorting office and had no luck. I ordered a coat, nothing strange about it. Just a unbranded coat yet customs have had it since the 17th of October and I’ve had no information as to when I’m getting it. My tracking number is LO289262819CN

Not sure what the problem is for it. The seller should have got a notice fro the custom about why it's retained there. You can only try to contact the seller to refund you if you couldn't receive it.

Hello, I have a parcel that was sent from china to Australia but parcel has been stuck at customs for a month now. I have emailed my local customs and provided them my tracking but i am told that they do not have the parcel. Could you please help with this issue? The item purchased are not illegal and it does not cost over 1000 aud so its not subject to any tax/duty.
