My parcel EV944250426CN was delivered to the carrier for transportation on 18 November, but there have been no further updates in 16 days. I was sent 4 parcels during the same time, 3 arrived very quickly with the tracking updates being updated every 1-2 days, but with this parcel there has been no update for 16 days. I have been told to contact the French post office, but they tell me it has not arrived in France yet. Is there anyway to get an update of where this parcel is? At what point is the parcel considered lost, 1 month, 2 months, 1 year?

Last update was 12/23/2020, I've contacted the seller 2 weeks ago and was told that it was awaiting a flight from HK to the U.S., and that flights to the U.S. were congested. My tracking status changed from "Delivering" to "Transport Too Long", so I addressed my concerns to the seller. It's holiday season (CNY I'm assuming) and the seller is awaiting for an update from the carrier. Should I be worried or will this be resolved? Most recent updates below:
