Hi Lena,

Yes, absolutely. China Post (China Postal Express & Logistics) offers a very common and widely used service called Registered Airmail, often known as "China Post Registered Air Mail" or "Small Packet Plus". It's one of the most popular methods for sending small, inexpensive items internationally.

For a 1kg package that is not high-value or time-sensitive, China Post Registered Air Mail is a safe and very reasonable option for shipping from China to Portugal. Its main advantages are low cost and basic tracking.

If your package is valuable, urgent, or critical, you should spend more on a service like EMS, DHL, FedEx, or UPS. These services offer much faster delivery (3-7 days), full tracking, and higher insurance coverage.

Please tell me, if I have a parcel delivery from China by China Post Registered Air Mail to The Gambia (20-40 day service) will it arrive by air or sea? Where can I collect it?
In Gambia we do not have private postal addresses but we can use a PO Box address or collect from the port or airport if there is a collection point.
