EME since 11th August

Hi, I have sent a parcel to Xiamen and it has been on status EME since 11th August. The tracking number is RC779227436SG. May I know what is going on and how long will it take for the parcel to reach the receiver? Thank you.

Hi Daisy, my friend has called the Customs. They said that they do not have his details but my box definitely has his address on it. They said for me to contact the post office on my side. Is there anyway I can directly provide the Customs with the information they need so they can speed up the release of the parcel?

It's waiting for the receiver in China to declare to the customs now. You'd better contact the receiver in China to ask if he has received the notice from the customs. If no, let him check through authorized tax collection system (http://int.ems.com.cn/mailtax) to check.
