Is China Post a joke?,,, or a Scam? They don't track ANYTHING! !!

This is the second time I have placed an order with Amazon and the shipping method is China Post. When I try to track with the tracking number provided, it doesn't recognize the number and I never get any kind of response..even when I contact the seller!!
Both times I ordered items for my grandchildren and we NEVER receive them. This is so disappointing. The kids wait and wait! I am pretty disgusted with Amazon!

There is a situation that the seller use a cheap way to send it. So, China Post doesn't provide tracking information for it.

Same issue. The China Post tracking number got to our little city ZIP code but then, poof, nothing. The post office was not helpful - they told me to call China.
I assume this is a scam. All in Chinese so can't read - but I think it is a scam. It hasn't been charged to the charge card I usually use but I'll check others.
Please send me some information about this.
