It shows it in 17 track that 4/8/2021 the flight departed.
So does that mean it left China and is now waiting at customs in the USA?

Flight departed doesn't mean it has left China. It may be still waiting for the flight space now. Just wait. There will be update when it arrives.

It couldn't be tracked between airline start shipping and it arrives in the US. To my experience, it's still in China waiting for the flight now. e-packet is slow at present. It usually takes about 30-60 days to be delivered for most packages. There will be update when it arrives. You'd better wait for more days to get update.
