PTT package has been stuck in transit

Hi Daisy,
So my package was shipped on the 23rd of March, 2021. It showed two days of tracking and then went completely ghost for several days. The last update I got was it had been forwarded to the destination country. I’m assuming this means US. So I check on USPS with the tracking number and it says “
Origin Post is Preparing Shipment
We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece.” It has been over 18 days now and still no update since 23rd of March. So I called the party who shipped the package and he spoke to PTT and they told him that the package was stuck in Europe due to Covid. So I’m confused as to what I should do or who to call to get my package. Can I call and pay dhl in mid transit to find my package and ship it faster maybe? Please let me know.

No, you can't paydh; in mid transit to let it ship faster. You can only wait for more days to see it arrives in the US. Due to the Covid, the delivery of the package may be delayed.
