Why Xiamen custom never inform us regarding our parcel held by custom.?

The parcel (CP 134159859 MY) I sent to China is held by Xiamen custom since early August, 2020.
I am wondering why the custom never inform both sender nor receiver regarding the parcel. At least let us know the reason why they hold the parcel.

Hi Kenji tan,

The customs should have sent a notice to the receiver in China. Ther receiver may miss it. You need to let the receiver call the customs service number 12360 to check it now.

hello! my parcel CR925888462SG has been held in custom for almost a month now. item cleared shanghai customs but not the one in guangzhou. parcel has also been previously sent to me as the parcel i am sending back is a return parcel from taobao. what should i do? have asked recipient to contact custom but there is no reply yet.
