It's waiting for the receiver in China to pay the tax to the customs now. You'd better contact the receiver in China to ask if he has received the notice from the customs. If no, let him check through authorized tax collection system (http://int.ems.com.cn/mailtax) to check and pay.

You'd better wait for more days to see if it will be passed the customs check. If it couldn't be passed in 10 days, you need to let the receiver in China call China customs service number 12360 to check.
