My Package is held in customs

I sent a package a while back and it says it is held in customs in Nanning China and has been there since a month or two now. What do I do?

Any help is appreciated. My package with tracking CH214207080US has been held in customs since the 29th and hasn't moved. Is there an issue or is it just a waiting period for the customs to clear? It is an item being sent back to the company for repair. Have asked the recipient and they have not been contacted by customs.
