Package Still in Customs

Hello, I sent a package to exchange an item (sweater) that was purchased for me but the tracking is saying "Guangzhou City, import customs remain to be verified in the tracking." According to the tracking it has been here in customers since March 24th. USPS tracking number is LH134570145US. What can I do to get it to move through customers, so I can get my exchange item? Hi TimR94,

Shipping is taking longer due to the pandemic. The delivery time for EMS packages couldn't be guaranteed now. It may be delayed. You need to wait for more days to get update. If you couldn't receive it in time, you need to contact the seller to reflect the problem and get a solution as soon as possible.

I am mailing a package back to the company which I purchased clothing online, because it didn’t fit. The company will not refund me until they receive the package, but it is stuck in customs, and they refuse to contact customs to get it. Why is my package stuck in customs?
