LK993162966AU customs delay on returned goods

Asked by janetvwilloughby | 7/7/2020 6:30:06 PM

I returned goods in the above parcel, and your customs dept have not yet cleared it, even though they received it on 5th June 2020. Is there a problem? The goods are a returned item, so should not be subject to any duties or fees? Please advise. thank you.

thanks Daisy. Why do they need to pay tax? I am returning something I purchased to the person I purchased it from, and this is clearly marked on the parcel?

Hi janetvwilloughby,

China customs will charge tax for packages sent from other countries if it exceeds some value. And some specific items need to be taxed. You'd better let the recipient to inquire the customs for details.
