Parcel has been in "Pre-shipment" for a month now. Is my package lost?

5/13 was the last update when tracking said, "origin post is preparing the shipment." It's now 6/09, and tracking still says the same thing. When can I expect the parcel to ship? Is there an issue with my package, if so, what can I do to solve the problem?
