In customs for 2 months now

I sent a package back to the business i ordered it from it is now September the 28th and the tracking info says Your item is being held in Customs at 11:06 am on July 29, 2020 in YIWU A, CHINA. Can someone help me?

Hi Holly1989,

It may need the receiver in China to declare or pay for the tax. The receiver should have got a notice from the customs. You'd better contact the receiver to ask.

My item has been presented to import Customs for over two months ago. The only thing I get on update is “ Pending. This item is still being assessed by the destination customs authority. If any further information is required before release they will contact the recipient directly”
My tracking number is LO420676811GB.
I have contacted the person receiving the item, but they claim they have heard nothing. Can anyone help? Thank you
