Hello, I sent a parcel to China (reference EK807389304GB) which is currently being held for custom import charges clearance at ZHENGZHOU. However the recipient said that he doesn't want to pay and will not make contact with custom authorities, leaving the parcel where it is. Is there a way of speeding up the return to sender without waiting for customs expiry time (which I believe is 21 days)? Can you advise please?

I have received today 29/10/21 an UNORDERED & UNWANTED parcel from LLZHU Room 405 Fourth Floor Headquarters Phase III Longdongbao.
This obviously some sort of 'scam' ,why is China Post allowing this to happen ,why is Mr Xi allowing this to happen ,these things damage China's reputation around the world.
Please note I am sending this package back at MY expense . This is NOT right !

I sent this parcel a month ago, it's the return of an unwanted item I purchased online. My tracking updates haven't changed since 3rd April, when it arrived at customs in China. All it says it it that my parcel is pending while it is being assessed.
